Warranty Policy
DTA® stands behind the quality of its drivetrain components. This page explains our limited parts warranty, what is covered, what is not covered, and how to request support if you believe you have a warranty issue.
Limited One-Year Parts Warranty
DTA® warrants to the original purchaser that its CV axles, ATV/UTV shocks, hub assemblies, and related components are free from manufacturing defects — meaning defects in materials or workmanship, and not normal wear and tear — for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only under normal use and service, and only when the product has been properly installed on a vehicle for which it was designed.
Conditions and Exclusions
This warranty becomes null and void if the product is damaged due to misuse, abuse, accidents, or the attachment of unauthorized accessories. It is also void if the product is altered in any way, improperly installed (including, but not limited to, the use of incorrect tools or torque specifications), or exposed to harsh weather conditions, chemicals, road debris, or other hazards beyond normal driving. Damage caused by the lack of proper maintenance, by underlying vehicle problems that were not corrected, or by any unauthorized repairs or modifications is not covered.
Any tampering with the part — including disassembly, opening sealed components, or removal, breaking, or alteration of identifying labels or stickers — will immediately invalidate this warranty. Damage arising from conditions beyond the control of DTA, or from use that is inconsistent with the intended application of the product (such as racing, competition, or extreme off-road use), is also excluded.
Remedy and Limitation of Liability
In all cases, DTA’s obligation under this warranty is limited exclusively to the replacement of the defective part. DTA does not reimburse and is not responsible for labor charges, installation or removal costs, towing, diagnostic time, rental vehicles, loss of use, or any other incidental or consequential expenses.
If a warranty claim is approved, the customer will be responsible for any applicable replacement fee and all shipping costs associated with sending and receiving the replacement part. Replacement fees and shipping charges are non-refundable. DTA reserves the right to require payment of such fees prior to shipment of any replacement product.
IN ALL CASES, DTA SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TYPE OF INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE — ARE EXCLUDED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO EVERY PURCHASER.
Authorized Sellers and Eligibility
This warranty applies only to products purchased by the original purchaser from DTA or from an authorized seller. Products purchased from unauthorized resellers, liquidators, or private third-party sellers may not be eligible for warranty coverage.
How to Request Warranty Support
To request warranty support, the original purchaser should contact us with proof of purchase, vehicle information (year, make, model, trim, and VIN if available), a description of the issue, and clear photos or video of the suspected defect. If a replacement is approved, applicable replacement and shipping fees must be paid before the replacement part is issued.In some cases, DTA may request that the part be returned for inspection. Once a claim is reviewed and approved, DTA will provide a replacement part for the remainder of the original warranty period. Refunds under this warranty are not offered; any refund requests must be handled through the marketplace or retailer where the original purchase was made.
